Information Title Adopt Resolution#24-050 Approving Temporary Use Agreement for Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Improvements, Improvement Project#20-11 Purpose/Background: Purpose: The purpose of this case is to adopt Resolution#24-050 approving a Temporary Use Agreement for the Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Improvements project, Improvement Project#20-11. Background: Construction of the Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Improvements project began in the Fall of 2023 and is scheduled for final completion in the Spring of 2026. The prime contactor for this project,Ames Construction, Inc., is requesting to temporarily use two properties, one owned by Anoka County and the other owned by the City of Ramsey, for temporary construction operations and for storage of equipment and materials. Anoka County is the lead agency for this project and has drafted a Temporary Use Agreement,which is attached to this case. City staff and the City Attorney reviewed and approve of the attached agreement. Following Council approval,the Temporary Use Agreement will be signed by the City Administrator and submitted to Anoka County. Observations/Alternatives: Observations: Approving the agreement will allow the contractor to most efficiently and cost-effectively complete the project, benefiting all parties and the public. Alternatives: Alternative#1 —Adopt Resolution#24-050 approving a Temporary Use Agreement for the Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Improvements project, Improvement Project#20-11. Funding Source: No local costs are required as a result of this case. Recommendation: Staff recommends approving alternative#1 for reasons outlined within this case. Action: Adopt Resolution#24-050 approving a Temporary Use Agreement for the Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Improvements project, Improvement Project#20-11.
