PUBLIC SAFETY BOARD <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Public Safety Board conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, September 9, 1999, <br />in the Conference Room of the Ramsey Police Department, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Boardmember David Lewandowski <br />Boardmember A1 Pearson <br />Boardmember Jim Way <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler (ex-officio) <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />City Administrator James E. Norman (ex-officio) <br />Police Chief David Gustafson (ex-officio) <br />Boardmember Tom Anderson <br />Boardmember Carl Grassl <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Boardmember Pearson, Chair of the former Fire Board, called the meeting of the Public Safety <br />Board to order at 5:40 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Boardmember Lewandowski to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Boardmembers Lewandowski, Pearson and Way. <br />Voting No: None Absent: Councilmember Hendriksen, Boardmembers Anderson and Grassl. <br /> <br />BOARD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: Review Preliminary Design of Fire Station #2 <br /> <br />Fire Chief Kapler stated this is a time sensitive issue. The architects need a go-ahead so we need <br />to decide on the outside of the building. He presented sketches of the floor plan for Station #2. <br />He noted there have been hours of work put into this with internal staff and also with staff <br />working with the architects.
