PW CASE <br /> <br />UPDATE ON T.H. #47 STP PROJECT (I.P. #98-14) <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On March 10, 1999, we received word that the Finding of No Significant Impact <br />(FONSI) has been issued on the project allowing for the acquisition of properties for the <br />project. Evergreen Land Service will begin meeting with the 12 property owners the <br />week of March 15 to present offers. <br /> <br />In addition to these 12 homestead properties, it is also necessary to address the remaining <br />property acquisitions, which involve only land without acquisition of structures or the <br />necessity for relocation. Attached is a listing of the additional 11 properties that must be <br />acquired. The City should begin discussions with these owners regarding acquisition. <br />While Evergreen Land Service should be involved with the negotiations with each <br />property owner, it may be useful for staff or Committee members to accompany <br />Evergreen during the negotiations with certain property owners. <br /> <br />Also attached is an updated cost estimate of the project right-of-way acquisition costs <br />compared to the previous estimate made in June 1998. The City needs to acquire right- <br />of-access from four properties on the east side of T.H. #47 from 142nd Avenue to <br />C.S.A.H. #5.
