Committee Member Haas Steffen advised staff that the "Steenerson" property is actually owned <br />by Lord of Life. <br /> <br />Case #3: Requests for Traffic Calming <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski advised a resident submitted a request for the installation of an all-way <br />(3-way) stop at the intersection of 143rd Lane and Potassium Street, and staff suggest the <br />Committee address the request at their April meeting. <br /> <br />Chairperson Zimmerman suggested performing a traffic flow study, and Mr. Jankowski stated <br />that Hakanson-Anderson just added an engineer to their staff with such a background and he <br />would request a study for the April meeting. <br /> <br />Committee Member Haas Steffen directed staff to advise the resident of what action if being <br />taken. She stated it might also be interesting to know how big a neighborhood has to be (either <br />by size or population) to warrant such a study. <br /> <br />Case #4: Update on T.H. #47 STP Project (I.P. #98-14) <br /> <br />City Engineer reported that the City needs to acquire right-of-access from four properties on the <br />east side of T.H. #47 from 142nd Avenue to C.S.A.H. #5 for this project. <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Haas Steffen and seconded by Chairperson Zimmerman to <br />recommend City Council authorize appraisal for the acquisition of rights-of-access for four <br />properties on T.H. #47. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Committee Member Haas Steffen and Chairperson Zimmerman. <br />Voting No: None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Haas Steffen and seconded by Chairperson Zimmerman to <br />adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
