Director of Public Works Kapler replied that the mining permit expires on September 23, 1999. <br /> <br />The Committee directed staff to review the issues, checking on the exposed area both in the <br />ordinance and the grading permit, and if there is something wrong with the elevations between <br />the existing neighborhood and the new development. <br /> <br />Councilmember Connolly questioned when the topsoil is put in if there is any time that has to <br />wait to allow the fill to settle before construction can begin. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied that a compaction test is usually submitted to the City. He was <br />not aware that it was a City requirement, more a standard test that is completed. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Chairperson Zimmerman, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Zimmerman, Councilmember Hendriksen, and <br />Connolly.
