Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Case#l: Consider Allocation of Community Development Block Grant <br /> (CDBG) Funds <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman adjourned the regular portion of the City Council meeting at <br />7:11 p.m., in order to conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 7:11 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation: <br /> <br />Mary Schoelch was present representing Alexandra House. She summarized their <br />services and asked for CDBG funds in the amount of $2,000. <br /> <br />Sarah, representing CEAP reported on the services CEAP provides. <br /> <br />Lynn Norin, representing RISE requested $3,000 to be used for transportation equipment. <br /> <br />There was no representative for the Family Life Mental Health Center. <br /> <br />Emie Larson, representing the ACBC Food Shelf & Clothing reported on their services <br />and what they have collected with food drives, etc. <br /> <br />Maggi Novak representing Meals on Wheels asked the City to contribute and reported on <br />the amount of Ramsey residents they serve. <br /> <br />City Council/January 26, 1999 <br /> Page 4 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
