Diane Peters representing Arc reported on their services to Ramsey residents and asked to <br />receive a contribution from CDBG. <br /> <br />Cathey Weidmann representing ACCAP Senior Outreach asked for a contribution and <br />also described the services they offer. <br /> <br />Jim Francois pointed out that this is the first time that the Central Center for Family <br />Resources has appeared before Ramsey Council asking for a contribution. He explained <br />his services and how many Ramsey residents were served in 1998. <br /> <br />Amie Engelby from the Father's Resource Center explained the goals of his organization <br />and also asked for funding. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to <br />close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Hendriksen, Anderson and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberZimmerman. <br /> <br />The public hearing adjoumed at 7:53 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back <br />to order at 7:53 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman thanked all the agencies for their work, dedication and <br />compassion and announced that Council would make a decision of CDBG fund <br />distribution at their February 9, 1999 meeting. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Vacate Drainage and Utility Easements in Park <br />67 Industrial Park; Case of CAMAS Minnesota, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Council introduced an ordinance vacating <br />drainage and utility easements in Park 67 Industrial Park and such ordinance is now being <br />presented for formal adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to <br />adopt Resolution #99-01 to vacate certain drainage and utility easements on Lots 3 and 4 <br />of Block l, Park 67 Industrial Park. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Deputy City Clerk: <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen aye <br />Councilmember Anderson aye <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen aye <br /> <br />City Council/January 26, 1999 <br /> Page 5 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
