Mayor Gamec stated that the PCA has set up a meeting with the City for March 2. They <br />plan to tell us how much of that property they own which is for the future Sunwood <br />Avenue connection. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to <br />table action on this issue until the City has met with the PCA to get some of the questions <br />answered. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Hendriksen, <br />Anderson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #9: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />1) Authorize Request for Proposals of Human Resources Analysis <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Anderson to direct staff to <br />submit Request for Proposals for a human resources analysis in a not-to-exceed amount <br />of $7,500. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Haas Steffen, <br />Hendriksen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />1) Allocation of Community Development Block Grant Funds <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Anderson to <br />adopt Resolution #99-02-039 reallocating 1998 CDBG funds in the amount of $63,988 <br />for reconstruction of the old town hall. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Anderson <br />and Hendriksen, Voting No: Councilmember Zimmerman. (Councilmember <br />Zimmerman was opposed as he feels that reconstruction of the old town hall could be <br />done by civic organizations.) <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Anderson to <br />adopt Resolution #99-02-040 allocating 1999 Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) Funds as follows: $500 each to Community Emergency Assistance Program, <br />Rise, Family Life Mental Health Center, ACBC Food Shelf & Clothing, North Anoka <br />Meals on Wheels, Central Center for Family Resources, and Fathers' Resource Center, <br />$1,500 to Alexandra House, and $26,483 to the preservation of the old town hall. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson <br />and Haas Steffen.
