Dennis Workmeister, representing Northern Natural Gas Company, stated that this is a <br />risk the company is taking. It's a time issue - we would like this pipeline in service by <br />November 1. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />authorize staff to negotiate a price for easements on City-owned land and bring back <br />information to the City Council <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: Anderson. <br /> <br />Case #9: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Vacate a Road Easement in the North Half of <br />Section 27; Case of Waltek, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated there is a road easement dedicated along the north <br />boundary of the Waltek property. During the site plan review process for the expansion <br />of the Waltek facility, it was determined that their facility would not be able to maintain <br />conformance with structure setback requirements if a road was constructed in that <br />easement at some point in the future. On April 13, 1999, Council conducted a public <br />hearing and introduced an ordinance to vacate the existing easement. Council also <br />requested that the proposed legal description for the new road right-of-way alignment in <br />the northeast comer of the Waltek site be provided and verified prior to adoption of the <br />ordinance and Attorney Goodrich has done that. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Mayor Gamec to adopt <br />Ordinance #99-03 to vacate a road easement along the north property line of the Waltek <br />parcel. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Deputy City Clerk. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen aye <br />Councilmember Anderson aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec recessed the regular Council meeting at 8:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular Council meeting back to order at 9:08 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Vacate Drainage and Utility Easement in <br />Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 4; Case of ParaBody/LifeFitness <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that ParaBody/LifeFitness will expand to two <br />commercial lots.
