Ms. Kalstabakken felt that T.H.//47 needs to be dealt with and also 149th but our concern
is why do we have to put Sunwood Drive through and why put a bike path there and
make children a part of the traffic. She pointed out that 153r~is a half-mile from T.H.
#47.

Mr. Kalstabakken stated that Council is saying that these are fine homes. They are being
put in the middle of the City and he wondered if Council has looked into putting them out
farther, like Northfork for example. He added that the people do not want this - the road
or everything else.

Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to
schedule a meeting to further discuss this project for 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at
the Ramsey Elementary School.

Further discussion: Councilmember Hendriksen asked that an equivalent number of
people from the audience view ACCAP townhomes in another community. Staff will
schedule the tour and then these people could report back at the next meeting. Patrick, a
young gentleman from the neighborhood stated that his brother has a best friend who
would be living fight on that road and he did not want that road. James Bachler, 14960
Argon Street NW, suggested postponing the visits to the ACCAP homes for five or ten
years and then see what they look like. Community Development Director Sherman
reported that ACCAP has been doing these projects for 20 years.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councihnembers Zimmerman, Hendriksen
and Anderson. Voting No: None.
