The Council discussed the procedures of final plat approval and entering into a development <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to adopt <br />Resolution #99-06-123 granting final plat approval to Northfork Itasca Point contingent upon <br />compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated June 17, 1999, and the developer entering into a <br />development agreement with the City. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Hendriksen, and <br />Anderson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Peck pointed out that in the Development Agreement, items number 15 and 16 refer to an <br />existing homestead, which is an error. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that it will be corrected. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Anderson for the <br />developer to enter into a development agreement with the City. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sherman gave the Council an updated draft of the <br />Comprehensive Plan with all maps included. Ms. Sherman stated that she received a letter from <br />the Met Council allowing for an extension to complete the Comprehensive Plan until December <br />31, 1999. She explained that if Council would like to request an extension they should adopt the <br />resolution so staff can do the paperwork to file the extension. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Resolution #99-06-124 and file an extension to submit the Comprehensive Plan to the Met <br />Council by December 31, 1999. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, and <br />Anderson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The City Council discussed moratorium expiration as it relates to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that the moratorium will be lifted as of October and the old <br />Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinances will be in place. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen questioned if the Zoning Ordinances could be changed. <br /> <br />City Council/June 22, 1999 <br />Page 13 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
