Mr. Kapler suggested putting together a priority list of the dirt roads and having the City <br />Engineer rate the roads and bring the list back to the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Council agreed with Mr. Kapler's suggestion. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the City needs to determine if it would be a savings to the City in the <br />long run to pave the roads and then give the residents the option. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he doesn't think that anyone should be forced into paving <br />their road and any decision should follow the guidelines. <br /> <br />Case #14: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Reclassify (Temporary) Transcriptionist Position to Regular Status (Part-Time) <br />Public Safety Aide <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Mayor Gamec to authorize <br />reclassification from temporary Police Transcriptionist to regular status, part-time, Public Safety <br />Aide. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Zimmerman, and <br />Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Ramsey Facility Usage Policy <br /> <br />The Committee provided direction to staff. <br /> <br />3) Discussion Item: Carnival Regulations <br /> <br />The Committee provided direction to staff. <br /> <br />4) End Probationary Period of Finance Officer Diana Lund <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Resolution #99-06-124A ending the probationary period for Finance Officer Diana Lund and <br />granting her the status of regular, full-time employee, effective June 24, 1999. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
