Voting No: None. <br /> <br />7) Accept Resignation - Public Works Maintenance Worker <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Pruitt Hottinger stated that Public Works Maintenance Worker <br />Brian Inhot resigned on July 23, 1999. His last day of employment with the City will be July 30, <br />1999. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />approve the resignation of Public Works Maintenance Worker Brian Ihnot. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Connolly. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />8) Authorization to Fill Vacant Public Works Maintenance Worker Position <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Pruitt Hottinger stated that the Public Works Department has <br />an opening for a Public Works Maintenance Worker due to the resignation of Brian Ihnot. The <br />starting salary range for the position is $11.57 to $12.00 per hour. As with other maintenance <br />worker appointments, the new hire will work in both the streets and parks/utilities division as <br />needed. Ms. Pruitt Hottinger also asked if Council would be in agreement with the job opening <br />posted only internally. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he had no problem with an internal posting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Mayor Gamec, authorizing Staff to <br />proceed with the process to fill the opening internally for a Public Works Maintenance Worker <br />position in Public Works. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Anderson, <br />Connolly, and Hendriksen.
