Commissioner Hunt inquired if a customer would be brought to the site if they were interested in
a unit located at the storage site,

Mr. Moiner replied there have been times when a customer has been driven to the storage area
and shown the units. However, nine out of ten times the trailer is hauled back to the lot. RV
World would not have a problem if this were to be a condition of the permit.

Commissioner Levine asked how long the process of finding a relocation site will take.

Mr. Moiner replied this cannot be pinned down. If an offer were to be made tomorrow it could
take a season to build on a site.

Commissioner Levine inquired about the request for a five year timeframe on the permit.

Mr. Moiner replied there are not many existing facilities to purchase and move ri~t into. IfRV
World had land secured tomorrow to build on it could take two seasons, so he would say up to
three seasons if possible.

Commissioner Trites Rolle asked if the agreement with Mr. Nathe is a long term standing
agreement or a written agreement.

Mr. Moiner replied the a~eement was made on a handshake, and he told Mr. Nathe he would
take care of this sort of issue.

Anthony Santarsiero stated he would like to read the following letter into the record on behalf of
his parents who own the adjacent property:

Re: Public Hearing for consideration of an Interim Use Permit for outside storage On the
property legally described as follows: The NW Quarter of the SE Quarter Of Section 29,
Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota

Dear Commission Members:

We are the owners of property at 8390 Hwy. 10 NW in the City of Ramsey. This
property is located immediately north of, and contiguous to, the above described property.
Further, we are the stockholders and officers of Shorewood RV Center which operates a
recreational vehicle sales and service dealership at that location.

We are opposed to the City of Ramsey issuing the interim use permit for the following
reasons:

1) We do not believe the zoning of the subject property would allow commercial
business operations such as "Open Sales Lot" to be conducted thereon.
2) We believe that the fee title owner of the property must be the applicant (or joint
applicant) for the permit and therefore this permit request does not appear to be in
compliance in that only RV World is named in the request.
3) Our understanding of the zoning ordinance is that variances and/or interim use
permits are granted only in certain instances. A variance is described as follows:

-203-
