Councilmember Zimmerman moved for the adoption of the following findings of fact: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -04 -191 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0550 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR CELLUAR ANTENNAS AND <br />RELATED EQUIPMENT BUILDING ON CITY PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, Verizon Wireless, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant ", has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to install and operate a cellular antenna system on the <br />City's water tower and construct an equipment/storage facility on City owned property located <br />on the property generally known as 14391 Dysprosium Street NW and legally described as <br />follows: <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 32, <br />Range 25, described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Quarter <br />Quarter 469.93 feet; thence northerly 208.74 feet along a non - tangential curve concave to <br />the west having a radius of 260 feet, a central angle of 46 degrees, and the chord of said <br />curve bears north 5 degrees 12 minutes 55 seconds east and is 203.18 feet in length; <br />thence north 17 degrees 47 minutes 05 seconds west tangent to said curve 50 feet; thence <br />northerly 151.47 feet along a tangential curve concave to the east having a radius of 340 <br />feet and a central angle of 25 degrees 31 minutes 31 seconds to the point of beginning; <br />thence northeasterly 178.48 feet along continuation of said curve having a radius of 300 <br />feet and a central angle of 30 degrees 04 minutes 38 seconds to the intersection with the <br />southwesterly right -of -way line of C.S.A.H. No. 5; thence northwesterly 52.63 feet along <br />said right -of -way line on a non - tangential spiral offset curve concave to the northeast <br />having a chord bearing north 46 degrees 28 minutes 58 seconds west and is 52.63 feet in <br />length; thence north 46 degrees 24 minutes 34 seconds west along said right -of -way line <br />and tangent to said curve 147.60 feet; thence south 43 degrees 35 minutes 26 seconds <br />west 200 feet; thence south 46 degrees 24 minutes 34 seconds east 214.29 feet; thence <br />south 82 degrees 15 minutes 34 seconds east 60 feet to the point of beginning; subject to <br />easements of record. <br />(the "Subject Property ") <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on April 3, 2001, and that said <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated by reference. <br />• 2. That the Subject Property is located in the B -1 Business District, is approximately 1 acre <br />in size, and is owned by the City of Ramsey. <br />
