• Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />• <br />• <br />RESOLUTION #01 -05 -209 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0552 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM N.W. STICKNEY FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO <br />EXCEED THE MAXIMUM ACCESSORY STRUCTURE SQUARE FOOTAGE <br />RESTRICTIONS AND THE NUMBER OF ACCESSORY BUILDINGS ALLOWED ON <br />A 5 -ACRE PARCEL. <br />WHEREAS, N.W. Stickney, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the maximum square footage restrictions and the <br />maximum number of accessory buildings established in City Code on the property generally <br />known as 7956 173` Ave. and legally described as follows: <br />North 300 feet of East 350 feet Northeast quarter of Northeast quarter Section 8, Township 32, <br />Range 25 as measured along East and North lines thereof; together with North 300 feet of West <br />400 feet of Northwest quarter of Northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 32, Range 25 as <br />measured along West and North lines thereof, except road subject of easement of record, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota <br />( "Subject Property ") <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on May 1, 2001, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br />2. That the Subject Property is approximately 5.1 acres in size. <br />3. That the Applicant currently has ten (10) detached accessory buildings with a total area of <br />5,967 square feet located on the property. <br />4. That the roof of a 40'x40' accessory building located on the property collapsed during the <br />past winter and the Applicant desires to demolish the building. <br />5. That the Applicant wishes to construct a new 50' x 30' accessory building on the property in <br />place of the collapsed building. <br />6. That City Code restricts the number of detached accessory buildings for a 5.1 acre parcel to <br />three (3). <br />
