• bodies, engines, transmissions and related ferrous and nonferrous materials associated with <br />the vehicles. <br />• <br />• <br />8. Scale. Permittee may install a truck scale on the Subject Property for weighing of material. <br />9. Permitted Uses in Building. The indoor facilities may also be used for storing and <br />warehousing of supplies and support vehicles, maintenance, repairs and servicing of <br />equipment used on the site and over the road operations (trucks, trailers, loaders, forklifts, <br />cranes, etc.). The Building may also house the management offices and administrative <br />operations of the company. <br />10. Disassembly of Engines, Transmissions, Other Feedstock. Disassembly of engines, <br />transmissions shall be permitted on the Subject Property, wholly within a building, under this <br />Conditional Use Permit. Preparation of all other feedstock is permitted only within areas <br />screened to a degree of 100% opacity or within the building. <br />11. Storage of Feedstock, Separated Materials. Storage of materials which are used in or <br />result from the processing operation is permitted on the Subject Property providing that <br />stockpiles are properly contained and screened from adjoining properties and public right of <br />way. However, the addition of screening on Lot 2 to meet this term shall be deferred until <br />July 1, 2002 or upon reaching an agreement with the City for the future use of Lot 2 and a <br />master plan for St. Paul Terminals, whichever occurs first. <br />12. Oil Residues on Paved Surfaces. The Permittee shall store all feedstock material with oil <br />residues within leakproof containers so as to minimize potential storm water runoff <br />contamination. <br />13. Outside Storage of Materials and Equipment. The outside storage of debris or materials <br />not used in the operation and inoperable vehicles and equipment shall not be permitted. <br />Permittee may maintain containers to hold inventory outside and may store consumer grade <br />rail ties for resale to the public outside if the containers and rail tie storage areas are screened. <br />14. Hazardous Wastes. No hazardous wastes, as defined by the U.S. Environmental Protection <br />Agency or Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA), shall be burned, stored or handled <br />at the facility. <br />15. Dross. All dross from the facility shall be removed from the site on a regular basis, shall <br />not be stockpiled in excess of 35 tons on the property, shall be stored indoors and shall be <br />processed or deposited in an U.S. Environmental Protection Agency approved landfill. <br />16. Dross Disposal. Upon issuance of this Permit becomes effective, Permittee shall submit <br />a copy of the written agreement or certification from the designated dross processing and/or <br />disposal facility that said facility is willing to accept the dross.
