• <br />Councilmember Kurak moved for the adoption of the following resolution: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -08 -315 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0570 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A STEEL <br />WAREHOUSE IN A RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, Scott and Patti Jarmoluk doing business as North Suburban Steel, Inc., hereinafter <br />referred to as the "Applicants ", have properly applied for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a <br />warehouse in a residential district on the property generally known as 8900 181S Avenue and <br />legally described as follows: <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying west of the West line of <br />the East 930.00 feet, as measured at right angles, thereof. Containing 11.82 acres, <br />more of less. Subject to easements of record. Subject to that part taken for <br />County Road No. 64 over and across the North 33.00 feet thereof. <br />(the "Subject Property "). <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on August 7, 2001, and that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated by reference. <br />2. That the subject property is located in a R -1 Rural Residential District and is <br />approximately eleven (11) acres in size. <br />3. That the surrounding parcels are zoned R -1 Rural Residential, and Agricultural Residential <br />in Burns Township on the north side of 181 Avenue NW. <br />4. That in 1985 a building permit was issued to Mr. Menard for the construction of an <br />accessory structure on the Subject Property, without benefit of a conditional use permit <br />when there is no principal structure (dwelling) present on the property. <br />5. That the current fee title owner, Mr. Lonny Menard, operated his business from the <br />accessory structure on the Subject Property. <br />
