( "Subject Property ") <br />Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #01 -09 -330 <br />381084 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO CHARLES LIND TO EXCEED THE MAXIMUM ACCESSORY STRUCTURE <br />SQUARE FOOTAGE RESTRICTIONS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14331 <br />ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0569 AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF SAME: <br />WHEREAS, Charles Lind, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the allowable accessory structure square footage <br />restrictions established in City Code on the property generally known as 14331 Armstrong Blvd. <br />and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 2, Block 2, Alpaca Estates 3` Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on August 7, 2001, conducted the <br />public hearing and recommended that the City Council deny the request; and whereas, the <br />City Council met on August 28, 2001 and adopted findings of fact favorable to the <br />Applicant <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact #0569, a conditional use permit (Permit) to exceed maximum <br />accessory structure square footage restrictions established in City Code, is hereby granted to <br />Charles Lind, hereinafter referred to as the " Permittee" <br />2. That the Permittee is allowed to have a maximum of 4,992 square feet of accessory structure <br />space on the Subject Property. <br />3. That the construction of a new detached accessory building shall not exceed 3,200 square feet <br />in size and shall require issuance of a building permit from the City of Ramsey. <br />4. That the exterior materials shall include vinyl siding that will compliment the color and <br />character of the principal building and the accessory structure will be finished with an <br />asphalt - shingled roof. <br />5. That the construction of the accessory structure shall be completed by September 14, 2002, <br />which shall include application of exterior materials. <br />
