• Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01 -11 -405 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0585 RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO THE HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS IN ORDER TO CONSTRUCT TOWNHOUSES IN THE RAMSEY LODGE DEVELOPMENT. WHEREAS, Orrin Thompson Homes, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant ", has requested a variance from building height restriction established in City Code in order to allow for the construction of townhouse units ( "Structures ") on the property legally described as follows: That part of the east half of the northwest Quarter, Section 25, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of said northwest Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of south 89 degrees 21 minutes 46 seconds west, along the south line of said northwest Quarter, a distance of 233.92 feet to the centerline of St. Francis Boulevard NW (State Trunk Highway No. 47); thence northwesterly a distance of 221.52 feet, along said centerline on a nontangential curve concave to the west, radius 1145.92 feet, central angle 11 degrees 04 minutes 34 seconds, chord bearing north 06 degrees 17 minutes 35 seconds west; thence north 11 degrees 49 minutes 52 seconds west, tangent to said curve and continuing along said centerline, a distance of 861.48 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence south 89 degrees 21 minutes 46 seconds west, parallel with the south line of said northwest Quarter, a distance of 888.64 feet to the intersection with the west line of said east half of the northwest Quarter; thence north 00 degrees 07 minutes 22 seconds west; along said west line, a distance of 757.00 feet; thence north 89 degrees 21 minutes 46 seconds east, parallel with the south line of said northwest Quarter a distance of 731.98 feet to the intersection with a line bearing north 11 degrees 49 minutes 52 seconds west from the point of beginning, said line being the centerline of said St. Francis Boulevard NW (State Trunk Highway No. 47); thence south 11 degreess 49 minutes 52 seconds east, along said centerline, a distance of 771.93 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to an easement for driveway over a portion of the south 5.00 feet of the east 100.00 feet of the above described land, as measured at a right angle to and along the south line thereof. (the "Subject Property ") NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
