WHEREAS, the Subject Property is located within the Critical River Corridor, which <br />has performance standards that the Applicant does not appear to be able to meet if the land use <br />designation is changed to High Density Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the adjacent land uses to the Subject Property <br />are commercial and industrial and that the proposed land use designation is incompatible with <br />the adjacent land uses. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby denies the request from Bulow, Inc. for an amendment <br />to the Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation on Lot 1, Block 1, Bulow's <br />Addition from commercial to high density residential. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />ity Clerk <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 11 day of December, 2001. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mayor <br />RE 1 LUTION #01 -12 -425 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
