I
nE
www.ae2s.coni
Proposal No. 014(RFP 008): Jet Mixing System Pump Modifications:
The backwash tank jet mixing system pump substitution approved with Construction Contingency Expense
No. 1 for a$25,000(see attached)ultimately did not fit within the current arrangement of the WTP.Looking
at other options, it was decided that we will need to go back to a similar arrangement as in the original
design. After working with the supplier we agreed on a $15,000 pump option, so that the City could still
maintain $10,000 of the original $25,000 deduct. This change will be more beneficial to the operators and
work as intended within the original design.
Proposal No. 015: Door Hardware Modifications:
During submittal review, the door hardware supplier required updates to the door hardware specification to
ensure that the hardware being supplied is up to date. As an update, Field Order No. 04 was submitted to
update the hardware specification and Sheet A804. The proposal reflects the door hardware supplier's
associated costs for supplying better quality hardware, per the updated specification.
Proposal No. 016: Access and Door Hardware Coordination Changes:
As a result of the December 7 door hardware and access control meeting, the architect issued Field Order
No.04(see attached)for the required updates. The proposal reflects the door hardware supplier's associated
costs for these modifications.
Summary of General Construction Continency Costs:
AE2S has summarized all known construction contingency expenses at this time in order to help the City
of Ramsey better understand the current contingency status.
