Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #24-062 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING VACATING VARIOUS EASEMENTS <br /> IN RAMSEY TOWN CENTER <br /> RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey is requesting a vacation of various platted drainage and <br /> utility easements across properties it owns platted within: <br /> Outlots J and K, Ramsey Town Center, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing pursuant to Section 106-260 (Easement Vacation) of the <br /> Ramsey City Code and Section 12.6 of the City Charter was held on March 12, 2024, and that said <br /> public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are available; <br /> WHEREAS, no utility company provided notice that they have utilities in any portions of <br /> the easements; <br /> WHEREAS, the intent of the vacating the easements will facilitate a replat of the <br /> properties. <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> 1. That the easement vacation will not violate the intent and purpose of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> 2. That the easement vacation is necessary to accomplish the City's intended purpose of roadway <br /> reconstruction and realignment. <br /> 3. That no private utility companies responded objecting to the easement vacation. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of vacating the platted drainage and <br /> easements across said Outlots J and K,Ramsey Town Center,Anoka County,Minnesota, as shown <br /> on the attached Exhibit Vacation Exhibit. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />
