May Crack Seal <br /> June/July Pavement Striping <br /> July/August Pavement Rejuvenation <br /> As we continue with annual pavement maintenance projects,the ultimate goal is to not have overlapping projects <br /> in the same year,but this cannot be avoided in 2024. <br /> The proposed improvements are designated as City Improvement Project#24-08, 2024 Crack Seal Improvements. <br /> Notification: <br /> Advertisements were published in the Anoka Union Herald on January 26 and February 2, 2024. Bids were also <br /> advertised on-line on Quest CDN. <br /> Letters are not mailed to property owners for crack seal improvements due to the relatively minor impacts to <br /> property owners and the traveling public during these projects. Adding indirect costs in the amount of 5-percent brings <br /> the total project costs to $135,150.62. <br /> Per the final plans and specifications, estimated construction costs were $155,119.00. After adding 5-percent for <br /> indirect costs for administrative, engineering, finance and legal costs, estimated project costs totaled$162,874.95. <br /> The low bid is 17-percent lower than the engineer's estimate. <br /> City Staff proposes to administer and inspect construction. <br />
