<br /> Purpose of this Survey
<br /> The City of Ramsey is seeking input from residents of Bowers-Drive and the Riverstone South development on
<br /> whether a 10-foot bituminous pedestrian trail connection would be supported between Bowers Drive and the
<br /> new Riverstone South development, Enclosed is an exhibit showing the location of the potential pedestrian
<br /> trail connection corridor,as well as amenities this trail would provide more convenient access to.

<br /> supported construction of a public road connection,a Public Safety and Public works maintenance
<br /> connection,or no second connection to Bowers Drive at all. The results of that survey demonstrated that -
<br /> Bowers Drive residents did not support a second connection between Bowers Drive and the new Riverstone
<br /> South development. At the time,the City Council voted to not construct a second access road. However,it
<br /> was also decided that this topic should be explored again if/when a future opportunity presented itself,
<br /> In 2024,Bowers Drive is.proposed.to receive pavement overlay improvements with 2024 Neighborhood
<br /> Pavement Overlays,Improvement Project#24-07,and a paved trail connection could be cost-effectively
<br /> constructed as part of this project. Staff will therefore share the results of this survey with the City Council
<br /> while discussing whether to add a`pedestrian trail connection to the project If a trail connection were to be
<br /> constructed,there would be no direct cost to local residents.
