Wetland Buffer Guidebook Review
By: Chris Anderson, Zoning & Recycling Coordinator
Background:
CASE # 1
Over the past couple of months, the EPB has been compiling information for a wetland buffer
guidebook. Both Staff and Board Members received a draft copy of the guidebook prior to the
last meeting for review and comment. A revised draft will be available at the meeting. The Board
should take this opportunity, if need be, to discuss any proposed revisions. While certain sections
of the guidebook remain in flux, the majority of the text should be near final draft form. Staff can
attempt to finalize the guidebook, including pictures and/or graphics, for the next meeting.
EPB Action
Based on discussion.
EPB: 11/6/06
CASE # 2
2007 Environmental Expo
By: Chris Anderson, Zoning & Recycling Coordinator
Background:
While it may seem to be a long way off, the 2007 Environmental Expo will be here before we
know it. There may be several modifications with the Expo this year, including a potential change
in venue and the possible addition of a speaker(s) and/or workshop(s). One of the components of
the EPB work plan is environmental education and therefore, Staff would like to get the Board's
input on one or more potential topics for either a guest speaker and/or workshop.
EPB Action
Based on discussion.
EPB: 11/6/06
