City of Ramsey—Lift Station 1 Generator <br /> March 5, 2024 <br /> Page 2of3 <br /> • Permits and Utilities—We have assumed no permits will be required. We will assist the City <br /> with coordination with utilities as needed for any relocation needed. We will also work with <br /> the City if a gas generator is selected to provide a service to the generator. <br /> • Bidding—We will work with the City to solicit bids or quotes for the work. <br /> • Administration—We will prepare contract documents and coordinate signatures. We will <br /> also process pay applications. <br /> • Pre-Construction Conference—We will organize and lead the conference. <br /> • Construction—Our services will include the following tasks: <br /> o Review Contractor submittals and shop drawings. <br /> o Respond to Contractor questions during the construction period. <br /> o Design representatives will attend the following site visits: Pre-construction <br /> conference follow-up, punch list walk-thru, and generator start-up. <br /> o Preparation of O & M manuals for the project. <br /> No as-built plans are anticipated. <br /> ASSUMPTIONS <br /> We have made the following assumptions related to the project: <br /> • The City will send us the maximum HP of the pumps at the station. <br /> • Upgrades to existing or installation of new SCADA system will not be required. <br /> • The existing lift station control panel will be reused and not need to be replaced. <br /> • Changes to the luminaire will not be required. <br /> • No bid alternates which require additional design or redesign will be required. <br /> • Payment of permits, City, County or other fees needed for governing authority reviews <br /> and/or the construction of the proposed project will be paid directly by the City. <br /> PROPOSED FEES <br /> Bolton & Menk proposes to perform the services on a not-to-exceed amount, based on the estimated <br /> fees per task in the table below: <br /> Task Fees <br /> Survey $ 21800 <br /> Power Distribution Design (Design Tree) $ 5,400 <br /> Site Design (Bolton & Menk) $ 3,800 <br /> Reviews and Updates $ 1,200 <br /> Permits $ 800 <br /> Specifications and Bidding $ 4,800 <br /> Administration $ 2,560 <br /> Pre-Construction Conference $ 640 <br /> Construction (Design Tree) $ 2,000 <br /> Construction (Bolton & Menk) $ 2,400 <br /> Total Fees $26,400 <br /> Bolton&Menk is an equal opportunity employer. <br />
