Based on discussions staff held <br /> with DPI last year this work is anticipated to have a useful life of 3 years or more. To date this work product <br /> appears to be holding up very well. <br /> Tentative project schedule: <br /> .June/July- Start construction <br /> •August-Final completion <br /> Alternatives: <br /> Alternative#1: Motion to adopt Resolution#24-13 0 accepting bids and awarding a construction contract for <br /> Improvement Project#24-55, 2024 Pavement Patching Contracted Services,to GMH Asphalt Corporation in the <br /> amount of$276,560. <br /> Alternative#2: Motion of other. <br /> Funding Source: <br /> Payment for this work is proposed to come from the $575,000 in funds budgeted for 2024 crackseal,pavement <br /> rejuvenator, and pavement patching projects. <br /> Staff will request Council approval to solicit quotes for spray patching for the identified 0.91 miles of streets after <br /> it is known how much funding remains from the $575,000 budgeted for 2024 crackseal,pavement rejuvenator, <br /> and pavement patching projects. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Staff recommends Alternative#1. <br /> Outcome/Action: <br />
