Follow us at www.facebook.com/ramsey.cityof. <br />Frequently <br />Asked <br />Questions • <br />Weekly FA,' <br />Question <br />Are fireworks legal in Ramsey? <br />Answer <br />Under Minnesota law, the sale and <br />possession of certain non -aerial and <br />non -explosive fireworks is legal. That <br />includes fireworks such as: <br />• Sparklers <br />• Cones and Tubes that emit sparks <br />• Novelty items like snakes or party <br />poppers <br />• Ground spinners <br />• Flashers/Strobes <br />An easy way to know if your fireworks <br />are legal is if they fly, burst, or shatter <br />violently; it is illegal in Minnesota. <br />Rain Barrel/Compost Bin Sale <br />We need to move the <br />surplus rain barrels and <br />compost bins! <br />The 100% recycled <br />plastic rain barrels <br />and compost bins are <br />still available at the <br />Recycling Association of <br />Minnesota website, <br />www.recycleminnesota. <br />org/compost-bins-rain- <br />barrels. Pick-up will be <br />by appointment only. <br />The rain barrels cost $90, have a 45-gallon capacity and <br />measure 24" D x 24" W x 32" H. The compost bins sell for <br />$76, have a 125-gallon capacity and measure 30" H x 33" D. <br />Questions about the rain barrels and compost bins should <br />be directed to the Recycling Association of Minnesota at <br />ram@recycleminnesota.org or 651-641-4589.
