5. 19. <br /> CC Regular Session <br /> Meeting Date: 05/28/2024 <br /> Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Not Applicable <br /> Information <br /> Title <br /> Adopt Resolution#24-150 Approving Plans and Specifications and MnDOT Cooperative Construction <br /> Agreement No. 1056358 and Authorizing Bids for Improvement Project#22-17,Ramsey Villas North Sound <br /> Wall Improvements <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> Purpose: <br /> To adopt Resolution#24-150 approving plans and specifications and MnDOT Cooperative Construction <br /> Agreement#10563 5 8 and authorizing advertisements for bids for Improvement Project#22-17, Ramsey Villas <br /> North Sound Wall Improvements. <br /> Background: <br /> This project has been discussed with the Public Works Committee during the following regularly scheduled <br /> Committee meetings; <br /> *October 19, 2021 <br /> •January 18,2022 <br /> •February 15, 2022 <br /> .May 17,2022 <br /> .November 15,2022 <br /> .April 16, 2024 <br /> All pertinent background information is included in the attached cases from these meetings, as well as in the <br /> attached meeting minutes. <br /> Attached to this case are the plans prepared by staff,which have been reviewed and approved by MnDOT. <br /> Also attached to this case is Cooperative Construction Agreement#10563 5 8 prepared by the Minnesota <br /> Department of Transportation(MnDOT), which has been reviewed and approved by staff as to content and <br /> scope, and by the City Attorney as to form. <br /> Notification: <br /> Upon Council approval,bids will be advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday, May 31, and on Friday, <br /> June 7, 2024. Bids will be opened on Monday, July 1,2024, and presented to Council for consideration of award <br /> of contract on July 9, 2024. <br /> Observations/Alternatives: <br /> Observations: <br /> Only the title sheet for the final construction plans is attached to this case. Final plans are not attached to cases to <br /> avoid having contractors bid projects using plans attached to cases since they would not be notified of any <br /> addenda that may issued during the bid process,which could result in bids being submitted based on different <br /> plans. Plans will be available for purchase from QuestCDN after bids are advertised. <br />
