RATIFY CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER By: Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator Backl~round: At the regular meeting of May 24th, 2005, Council established levels of authority for use during the construction of the new Municipal Center. The following levels of authority were adopted: City Council: Approval of project change orders greater than $25,000 Approval of all project change orders less than $25,000 by ratification at regular Council meetings Facilities Committee: Approval of project change orders in excess of $10,000 and less than $25,000, ratified by City Council Proiect Team: Approval of project change orders of up to $10,000 by James E. Norman, City Administrator and Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. City Administrator, ratified by City Council This case represents the ratification of change orders that have been approved by the Project Team and Facilities Committee. Change Order No. 1161-04 $4,109.50 Electrical modifications-receptacle locations and lighting fixture suspension Change Order No. 1093-01 $1,452.00 Acoustical ceiling changes due to opening changes at Stair B & police restrooms Masonry/structural changes in are B & C Change Order No. 1041-06 ($454.86) Misc. revisions to masonry/back charges to other contractors, resulting in net credit Change Order No. 1051-05 Modify length of nine j oints-steel Change Order No. 1094-01 Revise floor f'mish in hall F229 Change Order No. 1151-05 & 06 $1,637.00 $1,560.00 $4,061.07 Mechanical revisions-plumbing fixture change, Stair B opening change, ductworlddamper revisions in detention area, back-charge credit for door frame repair Change Order No. 1161-05 $24,902.00 Addition of heat trace tape in exterior gutter system ($11,129.00), add smoke detection to mechanical/electrical rooms ($11,143.00), misc elec.
