-128- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION 06-06-xx <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW <br />RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council established by resolution levels of authority on May 24th, <br />2005, for the approval of project change orders to allow for construction to proceed while <br />managing minor project changes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the established levels of Authority for the Construction of the new Ramsey <br />Municipal Center are as follows: City Council approval required for change orders greater than <br />$25,000, City Council ratification of all change orders less than $25,000, Facility Committee <br />approval required for change orders greater than $10,000 but less than $25,000, ratification by <br />City Council, Project Team of James E. Norman, City Administrator and Heidi A. Nelson, Asst. <br />City Administrator approval required for change orders not greater than $I0,000, ratification by <br />City Council; and <br /> <br /> V~I-IEREAS, the following change orders have been reviewed by BKV Group and 3D/I <br />Construction Managers and have been approved by either the Facility Committee or the Project <br />Team. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey ratifies the following change orders <br />for the construction of the new Ramsey Municipal Center: <br />Change Order No. 1161-04 $4,109.50 <br /> Electrical modifications-receptacle locations and lighting fixture <br /> suspension <br />Change Order No. 1093-01 $1,452.00 <br /> Acoustical ceiling changes due to opening changes at Stair B & police <br /> restrooms <br /> Masonry/structural changes in are B & C <br />Change Order No. 1041-06 ($454.86) <br /> Misc. revisions to masonry/back charges to other contractors, resulting in <br /> net credit <br />Change Order No. 1051-05 $1,637.00 <br /> Modify length of nine joints-steel <br />Change Order No. 1094-01 $1,560.00 <br /> Revise floor finish in hall F229 <br />Change Order No. 1151-05 & 06 $4,061.07 <br /> Mechanical revisions-plumbing fixture change, Stair B opening change, <br /> ductwork/damper revisions in detention area, back-charge credit for door <br /> frame repair <br />Change Order No. 1161-05 $24,902.00 <br /> Addition of heat trace tape in exterior gutter system ($11,129.00), add <br /> smoke detection to mechanical/electrical rooms ($11,143.00), mist elec. <br /> revisions <br />Change Order No. 1031202 $4,915.00 <br /> <br /> <br />
