Case #11: Adopt Resolution Authorizing the Sale of 14280 Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW Anoka County, Minnesota City Attorney Goodrich indicated the City has entered into a TIF agreement with Riverside Manufacturing. As a part of the transaction, the City is to convey title to: The East 500 feet of the South 200 feet (as measured along the East and South lines respectively) of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE ¼ of SE ¼) of Section numbered Twenty-seven (27), Township Thirty-two (32) North of Range Twenty-five (25) West to Riverside Manufacturing. On March 14, 2006 Council introduced an ordinance to authorize the sale. That ordinance was adopted on March 28, 2006. A resolution is necessary to complete the sale of Torrens property. Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Resolution No. 06-181 authorizing the sale of: The East 500 feet of the South 200 feet (as measured along the East and South lines respectively) of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE ¼ of SE ¼) of Section numbered Twenty-seven (27), Township Thirty-two (32) North of Range Twenty- five (25) West to Riverside Manufacturing. ' - Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Olson, Cook, Elvig, Jeffrey, and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Strommen. Case #12: Introduce Amendment of Ordinance #05-29 Establishing Permit Fees, Service Charges, and Various Other Fees to be Collected by the City of Ramsey City Administrator Norman indicated the City of Ramsey's 2006 schedule of rates, fees and charges was adopted by City Council on November 7, 2005 per Ordinance #05-29. The 2006 schedule needs to be amended as follows: · The first amendment is in relation to the DNR yearly water appropriation fee and the summer surcharge the DNR charges to the City for excessive water usage in the City in the months of June, July and August. The rates proposed are a measure to increase conservation consumption in the City during these peak periods. · The second amendment is in relation to field fees when used by youth teams. · The third amendment is a $25 administrative fee to process refund of building permits. Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to introduce an ordinance amending Ordinance #05-29 amending the 2006 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges and calling for a Public Hearing on June 27, 2006. Further discussion: Mayor Gamec commented he had previously questioned what other cities were charging in regards to fields. He has found almost all the cities are going to this type of charge with their youth associations. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Pearson, Cook, Elvig, Jeffrey, and Olson.
