The Council thanked Fire Chief Kohner for his service to the City. <br /> 2.03: Annual Police Department Report to City Council and Review of 2023 <br /> Police Chief Katers reviewed the 2023 Police Department report with the Council. He highlighted <br /> police department activities, updates, crime data, and call for service trends for 2023. <br /> The Council thanked Police Chief Katers for his presentation and his work. <br /> 3. CITIZEN INPUT <br /> John Enstrom, a 47 year Ramsey resident, came forward to share about an event he is holding on <br /> Friday, June 14, which is the largest flag retirement event in the State. He shared that they have <br /> added other communities to this event and they are anticipating over 3000 flags to be <br /> professionally retired. He stated the event will start at 3:00 p.m. on Friday and the prayer service <br /> will begin at 5:00 p.m. He asked the City for a burn permit and for an acknowledgment of what <br /> they will be doing. He noted this is a very honorable event and they welcome all who would like <br /> to attend. He explained that everything is done very safely by the American Legion. <br /> 4. APPROVE AGENDA <br /> Motion by Councilmember Woestehoff, seconded by Councilmember Howell, to approve the <br /> agenda as presented. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Kuzma, Councilmembers Woestehoff, Howell, Musgrove, <br /> Olson, Riley, and Specht. Voting No: None. <br /> 5. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Councilmember Musgrove stated she would like to pull Item 5:11 and move it to Council Business <br /> for discussion. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Musgrove, seconded by Councilmember Howell, to approve the <br /> following items on the Consent Agenda, removing Item 5:11 to 7.2: <br /> 5.01: Receive Cash and Investments for Period Ending May 31, 2024 <br /> 5.02: Note the following Boards, Commissions and Meeting Minutes: <br /> • Planning Commission Meeting Minutes Dated April 25, 2024. <br /> • Public Works Committee Meeting Minutes Dated April 16, 2024. <br /> %prove <br /> Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes Dated April 11, 2024. <br /> 5.03: the following Meeting Minutes: <br /> 1) City Council Work Session dated May 28, 2024 <br /> 2) City Council Regular dated May 28, 2024 <br /> 5.04: Approve JPA with Sherburne County Sheriff's Office to participate in the Regional <br /> Criminal Tracking and Analysis Group (RCTAG) <br /> City Council/June 11, 2024 <br /> Page 3 of 7 <br />
