He shared that there is a <br />stripping business on the end of Basalt Street and they are working with this property owner on a <br />frequent basis to grade this road and get it to work for the business. He noted that Public Works is <br />looking to remove all gravel roads so they would no longer need to have a grader in their fleet. <br />Motion by Councilmember Musgrove, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to adopt Resolution <br />#24-156 accepting bids and awarding a contract for construction for 2024 Neighborhood Pavement <br />Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project #24-07, for the base bid plus alternate bid to North <br />Valley, Inc. in the amount of $1,562,549.03. <br />Further discussion: <br />Councilmember Specht shared that he has been hearing from residents about having Beatty Street <br />and Collins Drive paved as soon as possible. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Kuzma, Councilmembers Musgrove, Olson, Howell, Riley, <br />Specht, and Woestehoff. Voting No: None. <br />7.02: Adopt Resolution #23 114 #24-155 Declaring Participation in State Performance <br />Measurement Program - Please Note: this case was removed from the Consent <br />Agenda and put on the Regular Agenda as item 7.2 <br />Councilmember Musgrove shared that she requested that this item be pulled from the Consent <br />Agenda as the Staff report contains discussion about a standard measured program and some of <br />the information is based on survey results, which they do not have this year. She noted that she <br />would like to know more from Staff on what kind of information will go into this if they do not <br />have a survey. She stated that in past years they have participated in this even without a survey; <br />however, she is curious as to where their data will come from this year. She said she would either <br />like some more information on this tonight or to have a broader discussion on this in a Work <br />Session. <br />Community Development Director Hanson stated she does not have this information this evening; <br />however, she can have it at the next Work Session. <br />Motion by Councilmember Musgrove, seconded by Councilmember Howell, to table Resolution <br />1123 111 #24-155 Declaring the City of Ramsey's Participation in the State Council on Local <br />Results and Innovation -- Performance Measurement Program to a Work Session for further <br />discussion. <br />Motion carried.
