of Ramsey's precincts after the General Election. She explained that the Anoka County Canvassing <br />Board currently only conducts post -election review for four randomly selected precincts in the <br />entire County. She said as elected City officials, the Council believes that there is a need for more <br />post -election reviews. She added that they are not the only city in Anoka County to have passed a <br />similar resolution and she is certain more will follow. She thanked the local organization, the <br />Anoka County Election Integrity Team, for bringing the need to address this issue to the Council's <br />attention. She shared that she is hopeful that the Anoka County Canvassing Board will take note <br />of the unanimity of the Ramsey City Council and address this request. <br />Councilmember Musgrove agreed with Councilmember Howell and thanked the other members <br />of the Council for participating in the discussion on this matter to come to a unanimous decision. <br />She stated that reviewing elections is very similar to other City processes for audits. She added <br />that the Parks and Recreation Commission will be meeting at Rivers' Bend Park on Thursday. She <br />noted that she had the honor of attending Officer Jamal Mitchell's memorial service earlier today. <br />She shared that this young officer only served for a short time but had a huge impact on the people <br />that he knew and served. <br />Councilmember Specht shared that the grand reopening of Rivers' Bend Park is scheduled for this <br />Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. <br />Councilmember Woestehoff added that the first concert in the Draw Concert Series is scheduled <br />for Thursday. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Howell, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Kuzma, Councilmembers Howell, Olson, Musgrove, Riley, <br />Specht, and Woestehoff.
