The burning will be conducted by and under the exclusive supervision and control <br />of Sauter and Sons, Inc., 14050 Azurite Street N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />All burning will be done in accordance with the rules of the MPCA and the City <br />Code of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />No materials other than the trees on the site will be burned and no off-site materials <br />will be permitted to be transported onto the site for burning. <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />No burning shall occur except during periods when the adjacent ground cover is <br />moisture saturated. <br /> <br />7) <br /> <br />No burning will be permitted unless the Ramsey City Fire Chief has been given <br />notice of intention to burn at least two (2) full business days prior to the intended <br />burn day(s). The purpose of this will be to allow the Fire Chief to inspect the site <br />and determine at that time if all conditions of this permit are satisfied and to <br />determine in general if safe conditions exist for burning on the proposed dates and <br />during the times while burning is conducted. <br /> <br />8) <br /> <br />All burning will take place in two (2) pits constructed on the site. The pits will be a <br />maximum of twenty feet (20') to forty feet (40') in width, forty feet (40') to sixty <br />feet (60') in length and a minimum of ten feet (10') to twelve feet (12') in depth. <br />Each pit will be bermed with earth along all sides except the working side. The <br />berms shall be a minimum of seven feet (7') high in order to eliminate Highway <br />#10 visibility and winds reaching into the fire and scattering embers. In the event <br />of a need to extinguish the fire, the berms will be used as smother cover. <br /> <br />9) <br /> <br />A representative of F & R will be present on site at all times when burning is being <br />conducted. <br /> <br />10) <br /> <br />F & R will have on site at all times, when burning is conducted, equipment <br />sufficient to provide for the suppression of the fire and fire hazard. <br /> <br />ll) <br /> <br />The burning pits shall be in locations receiving written approval of the Ramsey City <br />Fire Chief. <br /> <br />12) <br /> <br />F & R shall apply for a volume based open burning permit from the City of Ramsey <br />at a fee of $0.25/cubic yard. <br /> <br />13) <br /> <br />F & R shall provide general liability insurance naming the City of Ramsey as an <br />insured which liability insurance shall be in an amount of at least $100,000/person <br />and $300,000/occurrence. Said insurance shall insure against any loss or claim and <br />defense thereof which may arise as a result of the burning contemplated by this <br />resolution.
