Commissioner Deemer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-11-284 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0326 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE <br />NEARER THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN THE PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE <br />ON THE PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN 15933 NOWTHEN BLVD. N.W. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That Jim and Diane O'Donnell, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants", have properly <br />applied for a Board of Adjustment variance from Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code <br />to construct an accessory garage nearer the front property line than the principal structure <br />on the property generally known as 15933 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That part of the West half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 32, Range 25 <br />in Anoka County, Minnesota, lying northeasterly of the centerline of C.S.A.H. #5 as it is <br />now laid out and traveled and excepting that part lying northwesterly and northeasterly of <br />the following described line: Commencing at a point on the West line of said West half of <br />the Southwest Quarter, distant 650 feet South from the Northwest comer thereof; thence <br />East and parallel with the North line of said West half of the Southwester Quarter a distance <br />of 1089 feet; thence South and parallel with the West line of said West half of the <br />Southwest Quarter a distance of 311 feet to a point hereinafter known as Point A; thence <br />easterly on a line deflecting to the left 82 degrees 17 minutes 47 seconds and to a point of <br />intersection with the East line of said West half of the Southwester Quarter, said point <br />being the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence return westerly along same <br />described line and its westerly extension to a point distant 550.49 feet westerly of <br />aforementioned Point A; thence southwesterly on a line deflecting to the left 51 degrees 12 <br />minutes 50 seconds a distance of 362.51 feet to the center line of said C.S.A.H. #5 and <br />there terminating; and also excepting that part lying southerly of the following described <br />line: Commencing at the southeast comer of said West half of the Southwest Quarter, <br />thence north 0 degrees 36 minutes 25 seconds West (assumed bearing of South line of said <br />West half of the Southwest quarter is East) a distance of 224.10 feet; thence northwesterly <br />on a tangential curve to the left having a radius of 442.92 feet and having a delta angle of <br />37 degrees 57 minutes 15 seconds for a distance of 293.40 feet; thence North 38 degrees <br />33 minutes 40 seconds West and tangent to said curve a distance of 737.90 feet; thence <br />North 69 degrees 40 minutes 20 seconds East to the point of intersection with the East line <br />of said West half of the Southwest quarter, said point being the point of beginning of the <br />line to be described; thence return South 69 degrees 40 minutes 20 seconds West along <br />same described line and its westerly extension a distance of 607.07 feet to its intersection <br />with the center line of said C.S.A.H. #5 and there terminating. <br /> <br />Subject to an easement for road purposes over the southwesterly 60 feet thereof. <br /> <br />That the Applicants appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code on November 5, 1992 and that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the subject property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential and is approximately ten (10) acres <br />in size. <br /> <br />That the subject property is surrounded by R-1 Rural Residential zoning. <br /> <br /> <br />
