I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councfl~ember Zimmerman inn'oduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adopti0t~: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ~g93-06-122 <br /> <br /> RE$.~)LIJTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0339 RELATING <br />A <br />A REQ~JF_,ST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> <br />TO <br /> <br /> 'WHEREAS, Daniel Karst, Jr. of Danny's Tranny's, Inc., hereinafter referred to <br />as "APPI~ca~f', has properly applied for a Conditional Use Permit to disassemble engines <br />and tran~miss~ions and conduct wholesale operations in the Industrial District on the <br />propertyCegally described as follows: <br /> <br /> ~-L~ots 2, 3 and 4, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat #2, Anoka County, <br /> l~linnesota. <br /> <br /> I~OV~/THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF T[i~ ~iTY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF <br />MINN~,SO.TA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. ~hat.:the Applicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission for a <br /> .pjablic hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on June 1, <br /> 1[}93, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of <br /> said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the subject parcels total approximately 1.8 acres. <br /> <br />3. That the subject parcels are located in the Industrial District. <br /> <br />4. That the adjacent parcels to the north, east and south are zoned Industrial and the <br /> ~jacent parcels to the west are zoned Business Warehouse. <br /> <br />5. That on March 9, 1993, the City Council approved the issuance of a conditional use <br /> p ~rmit to Daniel Karst, Jr. of Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc., to expand the <br /> ~umiiaum processing operations on Lot 1, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park <br /> Pht fi2 to include the disassembly of engines and u:ansmissions. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant is proposing to construct a 12,500 square foot cement block <br /> btiildtng on Lots 2 and 3 to provide indoor space for the disassembly of engines <br /> arid ~:anSmissions and wholesale operations. Lot 4 is shown as a future expansion <br /> area on the site plan. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant has submitted a site plan drawn by Hakanson Anderson <br /> ASsociates, Inc. consisting of four (4) sheets dated 8/26/92 with revision dates of <br /> 8/27/~2, 9/16/92 and 5/11/93 and a two (2) Sheet of building plans drawn by <br /> Cd'aphic Design with a latest revision date of 5/11/93. <br /> <br />8. Tliat the Applicant is proposing to conduct on-site wholesale operations for the <br /> on~gine and transmission parts resulting from the disassembly operations and <br /> tr ..~SlX>rt aluminum by-products resulting from the disassembly operations to the <br /> al~miflum processing facility on Lot 1 for processing. <br /> <br /> <br />
