Councilme~ Zimmennan introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g93-10-243 [ A RESOLU REQUEST SERVICE INDUSTRI~ rION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0347 RELATING TO A POll A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ESTABLISH A TOWING ¥ITH IMPOUND LOT AND AUTO REPAIR FACILITY IN THE L DISTRICT WHE~E~S, Champlin Towing, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied for a;~onditiOnal Use Permit to establish a towing service with impound lot and auto repair facility in th~nditstrial District on the property generally known as 14300 Sunfish Lake Blvd. N.W. and leg ~a~ly ~ :scribed as follows: That P ~xt c if the East 500 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27, T0~n.~ .hip 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying north of the South 400 feet there,! anll lying south of the North 750 feet thereof (as measured along the south and east lines ~ero fi); except road; subject to easements of record. CITY OF R~, MflEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as ~ollows: 1. That ~ te Applicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission for a public hearin ~ p~suant to Section 9.03.04 (Conditional Use Permits) of the Ramsey City Code on ~ ob~ 5, 1993 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minui{ s o~ said public heating are hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by refer, 2. That fle s%ject property is zoned Industrial and is approximately 1.86 acres in size. 3. That :t~ ~wirig operations and auto repair facilities are not a permitted use in the Industrial 4. That it~e a~:ljacent properties to the north, south and west are zoned Industrial and the prop ~e~3t ohthe east side of Sunfish Lake Blvd. N.W. is zoned R- 1 Rural Residential. 5. That i: e ~Pplicant has provided a site plan consisting of two sheets, one sheet drawn by CD S ~tems of St. Paul and dated 9/14/93 and one sheet that includes contours drawn by Jim 1~.. ro t~nd Associates and dated 9/21/93. The site plan indicates that the towing service and au o r~air facility would be accommodated by existing structures and pavement on the site. 6. That ~e Applicant has stated that an impound lot will need to be developed on the property ,[ -- 7.
