This includes direct <br />sponsorship by NRECA, United Power Association, and the Electric Power <br />Research Institute (EPRB. <br /> <br />That the City has received a letter of endorsement for the test demonstration facility <br />from U.S. Congressman Rod Grams. <br /> <br />That no other conditional use permits for alternate fuel supply demonstration <br />projects have been issued in the City. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not be unduly dangerous or otherwise detrimental to <br />persons residing or working in the vicinity of the use or to the public welfare. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not adversely impair the use, enjoyment or market value <br />of any surrounding property. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will be designed, constructed, operated and maintained so as <br />to be~ harmonious and appropriate in appearance with thc existing or intended <br />character of the general vicinity and such use will not change the essential character <br />of that area. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not be disturbing to existing or future neighboring uses. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not be hazardous to existing or future neighboring uses. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will be served adequately by essential public facilities and <br />services. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not create excessive additional requirements at public <br />cost for public facilities and services. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not be detrimental to the economic welfare of the <br />community. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not involve uses, activities, processes, materials and <br />equipment and conditions of operation that may be detrimental to any persons, <br />property or the general welfare by reason of excessive production of fumes or <br />odors. ' <br /> <br />That the proposed use will be consistent with the intent and purposes of §9.03.04 <br />(Conditional Use Permits) of the City Code. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br /> <br /> <br />
