<br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Request to Rezone from R-2 Medium Density Residential to Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) for GADS Prairie; Case of Aaron Stritesky <br />Construction <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon advised this case is the request to rezone GADS <br />Prairie, which just received approval for preliminary plat and preliminary site plan approval, to <br />Planned Unit Development (PUD). The staff report includes an analysis of the requirements for <br />allowing zoning amendments to PUD. Staff recommends approval of the rezoning, and proposes <br />that the ordinance not be brought forward for adoption until the final plat comes forward. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adopt Resolution <br />#06-06-196 adopting Findings of Fact #0768 relating to a request to rezone the proposed plat of <br />GAD's Prairie from R-2 Medium Density Residential to Planned Unit Development. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Pearson, Elvig, Olson, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to introduce an <br />ordinance rezoning the property to be platted as GAS's Prairie from R-2 Medium Density <br />Residential to Planned Unit Development, contingent upon plat approval. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Pearson, Elvig, Olson, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. . <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat of Ebony Addition; Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon advised the City of Ramsey is seeking to replat the <br />land generally located on the southwest comer of Ebony Street and 14151 A venue. The purpose <br />of this subdivision is to assemble two lots to create one buildable lot. As part of the subdivision, <br />the City will plat and construct the southern extent of Ebony Street and the portion of McKinley <br />Street that lies on the subject property. This land will be sold, and with TIF assistance, will be <br />developed. Staff recommends approval ofthe final plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution <br />#06-06-197 to approve the [mal plat for Ebony Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. The proposed lots will be served by a common . <br />septic system, constructed to connect to municipal sewer and water when they become available <br /> <br />City Council!
