<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br /> <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:03 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Jeffrey. <br /> <br />INTRODUCE AND SWEAR IN NEW PATROL OFFICER CHRIS CURTIS <br /> <br />Police Chief Way introduced new Patrol Officer Chris Curtis. City Attorney Goodrich <br />conducted the swearing in of Patrol Officer Chris Curtis. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated Officer Curtis has worked with the City as a CSO. He commended the <br />Police Department on their excellent reputation for dealing with the citizens of Ramsey. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION ON KIDS SAFETY CAMP <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced there are a few openings for Safety Camp June 20 and 21. Safety <br />Camp is held at the Rum River Boy Scout Camp on Highway 47. There will be a graduation and <br />family picnic June 21 at 6:00 p.m.; the Councilmembers are all invited to attend.
