Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Jeffrey, Cook, Olson, and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Strommen. <br /> <br />2) Authorization of the Collection of Date on Possible Economic Development <br />Projects <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig explained the Committee directed staff to move forward on a review of <br />the Economic Development Consultant's billing statement, and that no billing be paid until that <br />review has been completed. The motion of the Committee was to direct staff to review the <br />Economic Development Consultant's billing, and not to pay any outstanding bills until that <br />review is completed and comes back for Council review. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated this can be handled administratively; staff has that <br />direction. <br /> <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Reschedule July 4, 2006 City Council Work Session <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated the Council work session on the first Tuesday in July <br />needs to be rescheduled from July 4. He suggested a Town Center work session be scheduled for <br />June 27 at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Consensus of Council was to direct staff to schedule a Town Center work session for June 27th at <br />4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Staff/Council Announcements <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced the following: <br />. Ramsey Rotary Golfing Event: Tuesday, June 20 at the Links of North fork. <br />. The Ramsey Lions picnic was held on June 3. It was an excellent event with ground <br />breaking for a new building. He thanked the Ramsey Lions for providing the lunch. <br />. The City is looking for help with Happy Days. <br />. He has received a letter of denial from the USPS in regards to the City's request for a ZIP <br />code. The letter states that a population of approximately 25,000 is needed to obtain a <br />post office. <br />.
