Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g95-09-215 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR DRAINAGE <br />PURPOSES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has initiated its public Improvement Project g95-12 (the <br />"Improvement Project") which project consists of constructing drainage improvements in a portion <br />of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, Range 26 and part of the <br />Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, Section 15, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a perpetual drainage easement over, under and across certain real property <br />are required to provide for the construction of the Improvement Project and in order to further the <br />public health, safety and convenience of the residents of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has authorized to acquire the easements for the Public <br />Improvement by eminent domain pursuant to Minnesota Statute Chapter 117; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has the right to acquire the easements prior to the filing of an award <br />by the Court appointed commissioner, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §117.011 and §117.042; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property owners of the parcels of real property which are affected by <br />the easements to be acquired have been identified by the City as follows; <br /> <br />FEE OWNER <br /> <br />REAL PROPERTY DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />Lawrence B.
