• Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #96-01-027 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0391 TO REZONE CERTAIN <br /> PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br /> with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1. That Good Value Homes,hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to <br /> rezone certain property from Industrial to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> 2. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br /> the City Code on January 10, 1996 and that said public hearing was properly advertised <br /> and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> 3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> The North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, <br /> Anoka County,Minnesota,EXCEPT the following described tract: <br /> • That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 27 <br /> described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner thereof; thence north <br /> 00 degrees 33 minutes 47 seconds West on the West line of said Northwest Quarter <br /> of the Northwest Quarter for a distance of 418 feet; thence North 89 degrees 26 <br /> minutes 44 seconds East and parallel with the South line of said Northwest Quarter <br /> of the Northwest Quarter a distance of 209 feet; thence South 00 degrees 33 <br /> minutes 47 seconds East and parallel to said West line to the said Southline thereof; <br /> thence South 89 degrees 26 minutes 44 seconds West on said South line to the <br /> point of commencment. Except Parcel No. 8, Anoka County Highway Right-of- <br /> Way Plat No. 16. <br /> Also including that part of the Southeast Qwuarter of the Northwest QWuarter of said <br /> Northwest Quarter lying northeasterly of Anoka County Highway Right-of-Way Plat No. <br /> 8. <br /> and upon recording: <br /> Pondview,Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> 4. The total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately eighty five (85) acres. <br /> 5. That the subject property is currently zoned Industrial. <br /> 6. That the properties to the north are zoned B-1 Business and R-1 Urban Residential, the <br /> property to the east and west is zoned Industrial, and the property to the south is zoned <br /> • Business Warehouse. <br />
