Councilmemb~r Petcrson introduced tho following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g96-03-050 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO RESCIND RESOLUTION g96-01-027 ADOPT AMENDED <br />FINDINGS OF FACT g0395 TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM <br />INDUSTRIAL TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Good Value Homes, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to <br />rezone certain property from Industrial to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on January 10, 1996 and that said public heating was properly advertised <br />and that the minutes of said public heating are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned was legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota, EXCEPT the following described tract: <br /> <br />That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 27 <br />described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest comer thereof; thence north <br />00 degrees 33 minutes 47 seconds West on the West line of said Northwest Quarter <br />of the Northwest Quarter for a distance of 418 feet; thence North 89 degrees 26 <br />minutes 44 seconds East and parallel with the South line of said Northwest Quarter <br />of the Northwest Quarter a distance of 209 feet; thence South 00 degrees 33 <br />minutes 47 seconds East and parallel to said West line to the said Southline thereof; <br />thence South 89 degrees 26 minutes 44 seconds West on said South line to the <br />point of commencment. Except Parcel No. 8, Anoka County Highway Right-of- <br />Way Plat No. 16. <br /> <br />Also including that part of the Southeast Qwuarter of the Northwest QWuarter of said <br />Northwest Quarter lying northeasterly of Anoka County Highway Right-of-Way Plat No. <br />8. <br /> <br />4. The total area of the property to be rezoned was approximately eighty five (85) acres. <br /> <br />5. That the subject property is currently zoned Industrial. <br /> <br />That the properties to the north are zoned B-1 Business and R-1 Urban Residential, the <br />property to the east and west is zoned Industrial, and the property to the south is zoned <br />Business Warehouse. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant is proposing to develop the plat with single family urban residential lots. <br /> <br /> <br />
