Councilmember Beahen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #98-07-164 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #0465 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br /> FROM NORTH FORK, INC. FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO GRADE AND <br /> IMPORT SOILS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from North Fork, Inc. for a <br /> conditional use permit to grade and/or import soils from the property legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 7 and 8, Block 4, Northfork, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter referred to as "Site A") <br /> -and- <br /> Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 3, Northfork Links Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter referred to as "Site B"), <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That on June 23,m 1998, North Fork, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", applied <br /> for a conditional use permit to grade soils on Site A and grade and import soils on Site B. <br /> 2) That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br /> pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on July 7, 1998, and that said public hearing <br /> was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br /> as a part of these finding by reference. <br /> 3) That the Applicant is proposing to grade in area of two (2) acres to a mean depth of two <br /> (2) feet on Site A. <br /> 4) That the Applicant is proposing to grade and add fill to the front yards of Lots 5, 6 and 8 <br /> on Site B, in accordance with an expired conditional use permit issued on July 11, 1995 <br /> and Grading Plan prepared by Ulteig Engineering dated June 29, 1995. The depth of fill <br /> be from one to two feet and will not raise the existing building pad elevation. <br /> 5) That the Applicant states that the amount of fill imported to Site B will be less than 400 <br /> yards. <br /> 6) That the proposed source of fill material for Site B will be from Block 2 of Itasca Shores. <br /> 7) That the proposed haul route for importing soils to Site B will be Andrie Court N.W. and <br /> Andrie StreetN.W. <br /> 8) That the fill materials, except topsoil for restoration, are proposed to be imported to Site A. <br />
