Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-05-095 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #0494 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM WILLIAM AND JUDITH ROME FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />AN OVERAGE IN THE ACCESSORY BUILDING SIZE RESTRICTION AND THE <br />TOTAL AMOUNT OF ACCESSORY BUILDING SPACE ALLOWED ON A PARCEL <br />OF LAND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from William and Judith Rome <br />for a conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory structure space and the size <br />restriction on any one accessory building on the property generally known as 16100 Dysprosium <br />Street N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 9, Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating to <br />the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on April 16, 1999, William and Judith Rome, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants", <br />properly applied for a conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory building <br />space and single building size restriction on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on May 4, 1999, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is approximately 3.3 acres in size. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels of land 3.3 acres in size, <br />the total square footage of all accessory buildings shall not exceed 2,464 square feet and no <br />single accessory building shall exceed 1,600 square feet. <br /> <br />6. That the existing garage on the property is 986 square feet in size, which results in a <br /> remaining accessory structure space allotment of 1,478 square feet.. <br /> <br /> <br />
