Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-06-113 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0496 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO THE HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS IN THE <br />INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Knoll Properties, LLC, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has <br />properly applied for a Board of Adjustment variance from structure height restrictions to <br />develop an office and manufacturing facility on the property legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 5, Block 3, AEC Energy Park, Anoka County, Minnesota; <br />or upon replatting: <br />Lot 1, Blockl, A.E.C. Energy Park 4th Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code on June 8, 1999 and that said <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the subject property is zoned Business Warehouse and is approximately 5.7 <br /> acres in size. <br /> <br />3. That the Business Warehouse District restricts structure heights to 35 feet. <br /> <br />4. That the surrounding property is zoned Business Warehouse. <br /> <br />5. That the Applicant is proposing to develop an office and manufacturing facility and a <br /> portion of the structure measures 40' from grade to facilitate overhead cranes. <br /> <br />6. That the 35 foot height restriction is based on the reach capabilities of fire suppression <br /> equipment in the City's fire department. <br /> <br />7. That the Fire Chief has stated that the City's Capital Equipment Purchase Plan <br /> includes installments on an Aerial Ladder Truck commencing in 2001 and in the <br /> <br />Resolution #99-06-113 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
